Shippable (Pune only)

My true initiation into the world of Pies began with my visit to Four & Twenty Blackbirds, NYC and I was hooked. This Pie is a love song to that one bite of Salted Caramel Apple Pie that was transformative for me at the time.

As always, we began with a cherished piece of memory but made it our own.
Here, two sheets of flaky and buttery pastry holds a boatload of apple tossed in cinnamon & brown sugar. We add a generous dollop or two of our organic jaggery caramel which adds a wonderful nutty, toasty & complex sweetness to the pie. It is baked low and slow in the oven till the pastry is golden & crunchy while the apples collapse into a beautiful jammy filling.

As lovely as it is eaten on its own, serve it with ice cream, custard or sour cream - that's how I remember eating that first bite and boy am I partial to that.

Also, in the spirit of inclusivity (why must only big groups have access to this), now it is also available in a small size, which although perfect for two, for the kindred spirit it is very much a single serve.
